The second day at Nationals brought lots of upsets of the top teams in both the women’s and men’s draw. Going into Sunday’s final, unseeded Long Islanders Liz Jaffe and Lisa Rudloff will face hall of famer Cindy Prendergast and partner Lauren Zink (12)On the men’s draw, top seeds Mike Cochrane and Scott Estes (1) will try to repeat their 2007 victory versus current National Champ Johan Durandt and new partner Matt Porter. In the second semifinal All-Canadian team of Mark Parsons and Mike Stulac (10) will battle it out against the only Chicago team left in the tourney, Scott Bondurandt and Mark Johnson (11).The men’s semifinals will feature five foreign-born players while the women’s finals will be and All-American match.
