Patricio Misitrano

Patricio began writing for Paddletimes the day the site came alive back in February 2011. After losing by injury default in the semis of Short Hills and seeing how the final match was also decided by an injury default he decided to start telling the whole world, or to whoever would listen, what was going on in the world of platform tennis.

Patricio is the Director of Racquets at the Greenwich Country Club in Greenwich, CT where he also plays for two of their men’s teams. Besides playing in Connecticut he co-captains the 6-time Westchester league champs Greenburgh and is a two-time NRT Champion (Cleveland 2010 and Hartford 2012).

Co-directing the Patterson Club Open since 2010, in 2014 Patricio also directed the largest Husband & Wife Nationals and the largest Mixed Nationals.

Originally from Argentina and holder of two Bachelor degrees (one in Journalism) and an MBA Patricio also is a tennis fanatic (his first love) and a golfer/skier wannabe. In his spare time (not that much) he spends time whit his lovely wife Lisa and beautiful daughter Lucila.
