A platform tennis court will be installed on the tournament grounds to create awareness about the sport among tennis fans. Activities will include clinics, pro-ams and exhibitions between top paddle pros. Special appearances from both ATP and WTA tours are expected during the week to join in the fun.
While the world’s best men and women tennis champions play in the nation’s capital, some of the best paddle players will display their platform skills right there on the grounds of the Citi Open. The tennis action will include Andy Murray, Victoria Azarenka, Kei Nishikori, and the Bryan Brothers among many. The paddle action will feature Nationals Champions Ana Brzova and Drew Broderick and hall of famer David Ohlmuller.
