The Garden City Country Club, located in Garden City, NY is currently looking for a Head Racquets Professional with appropriate certification in Tennis (USPTA) and Platform Tennis (APTA) to manage all racquets related activities and business. The effective date is September 1, 2014. Club facilities include a first class 18 hole Golf Course, four Tennis courts, four Platform Tennis courts, a main clubhouse with locker facilities, plus a Mixed Grill and Club Dining Room. Job responsibilities include supervising all racquets play, supervising personnel such as Assistant Professionals, Court Attendants and Maintenance Staff. Provide competent racquets instruction for all groups and levels of play and planning tournaments & events, to encourage active participation by all club members. Compensation Package:
- Base salary – depending upon experience
- Vacation & sick time – as per Club policy
- Medical, dental and life insurance – as per Club policy
