The Nyack Field Club emphasizes family participation and the highlight of the year is Family Day. Situated on 12.5 beautiful acres, the Nyack Field Club maintains 10 Har-Tru courts (7 of which are hydro courts) from April through October and fields teams in the Bergen and Hudson Valley tennis leagues. The NFC boasts very active men’s, women’s and mixed in-house-leagues and offers a full range of tennis programs and activities to the membership.
Platform tennis is played September through March on four lighted courts. Players can relax in the “all purpose building” and watch the court action. The platform tennis program enjoys a very active social participation. There are 5 men’s and 5 women’s competitive teams registered in the Bergen County Platform Tennis League, as well as intra-club play and round robins. A racquets pro shop is stocked with the latest tennis and platform tennis attire and equipment.
