Mark Parsons and Mike Stulac took down their first title of the season only dropping one set when they beat Caldwell-Cordish 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 in the Lehigh Valley Final this last Saturday. Parsons-Stulac are now looking strong with their eyes in Nationals. Wind was not an issue for the Canadian duo and now they are both planning the Dominican vacation.Caldwell-Cordish fell short but they had a tremendous tourney as they took down two seeded teams on their way to the final. First it was the turn of #4 LeFevre-Misitrano in the Quarter Finals (6-4, 6-4) and then #1 Arraya-Bancila (6-0, 6-4).Chicago’s team Ohlmuller-Schmidgall had also a big upset when they defeated #2 Lubow-DeRose in the Quarter Finals (5-7, 6-4, 6-2). Arraya-Bancila started their matches on the slow side as they lost all first sets: 7-6 to locals Beers-Nowlan, 6-4 to Falatek-Nadjek and 6-0 to Caldwell-Cordish. They were able to turn around the first two but Caldwell was just too hot for the Charities Champs. All teams are now getting ready for the last few days before heading over to the Wind City for Nationals. Lehigh Valley was a good practice as the wind was a factor and the teams that adjusted better had the best results.Quarters ReprieveLeFevre-Misitrano def.
