On its first year as an NRT, the Kansas City Open will feature two former Nationals Champions (and also two of the more exciting players to watch) on its first official draw. Who are we talking about? Not others than Mark Parsons (2011 National Champion) and Mike Cochrane (2007 National Champion).
Andy Meltzer and Tournament Director Kevin Kowalik may disagree but Cochrane-Parsons are the team to beat. Meltzer-Kowalik should also watch out for a new player in the draw on their bottom half: Rafael Abreu. If our scouting reports don’t fail us, this former TCU top tennis player will definitely can become the new weapon of Kansas City Paddle.
