With sketchy weather right up until game time, many matches were cancelled last Tuesday and the division races did not change much from the previous week. As usual, all stats can be found HERE.
Division 1
Greenburgh 1 remains in first in division 1, but is no longer all alone, as Manursing Island Club 1 is now tied for first with GB1 with 16 points. GB1 handily beat Orienta Beach Club 1, 4-1, highlighted by a three set win at the one line. MIB beat up on Bronxville Village 2, with a 5-0 sweep, dropping only one set all night. New York Athletic Club 1 is within shouting distance of first place with 13 points, after a 3-2 victory over Bronxville Village 1. Once again, BV1 defaulted a match. In the final match in D1, The Country Club of Westchester defeated Flint Park 1 by a score of 4-1.
Division 2
The two first place teams in division 2, Shenorock and Siwanoy Country Club 1 battled it out Tuesday night, with Shenorock coming out on top with a narrow 3-2 victory. The one line match featured some of the top players in d2, and Shenorock managed to edge this match out also. Fox Meadow 1 kept their hopes alive of a division title with a 3-2 victory over Sleepy Hollow Village. The other two matches in this division were not played.
Division 3
Century Country Club has taken sole possession of first place in division 3, but last week’s first place team, Wykagyl Country Club did not play. CCC swept Larchmont Yacht Club 2, 5-0. New York Athletic Club 2 scored a 3-2 victory over Larchmont Shore Club 1, and the other two matches were cancelled.
Division 4
Ardsley Country Club 1 sits atop division4, but again with the caveat that other top teams did not play. ACC1 beat White Plains, 4-1, with every match going three sets, except the one line. Orienta Beach Club 2 beat Bronxville Village 4, 3-2, and the other two matches were cancelled.
