With his win over Ben Stein by 6-3, 6-4 Sebastian Bredberg finally gets his first crown as the Singles Champion. Semifinalist in 2010 and finalist in 2011, the Greenburgh player is now the best singles player in the country.

In 2011 Sebastian had a close three sets match in the final versus Enrique Catter. This time, he did not lose a set and was, by far, the best player out there. In the semis, the Swede defeated Marco Grangeiro 6-3, 7-6 in a grueling match.

The second semifinals was played on Saturday and not on Sunday how it was initially scheduled. Ben Stein surprised the defending champion and won 6-4 in the third set. Although Ben seemed to have the advantage going into the final match (winner of Bredberg-Grangeiro had to play back to back semis and final), the fact that SEbastian had played before gave him the edge.
