Carrie Rabuse and Kerri Delmonico won the Rochester Open with their win over Mandy Odenbach and Jenny Schneider 6-3, 6-1. The final match of this NRT/PCQ region 4 tourney was played under a light drizzly but the weather conditions did not bother the champions at all.

The first semis featured the top seeds Delmonico and Rabuse versus Sandra Odenbach and Bev Dyminski. Delmonico and Rabuse dominated the match and were off the court in less than one hour.

During the second semifinals, both 2011 defending champions were on the court. However, this time they were facing each other. Jenny Schneider and Kelly Brown decided to change partners and ended on the court but on different sides of the net. Jenny and partner Mandy Odenbach took down Kelly and partner Rita Kladstrup in straight sets.

Just like in the semis, finals and during their other matches, Delmonico and Rabuse were too good for the competition. Delmonico controlled the net game with her spins and power while Rabuse was solid as a rock and accompanied her with steady strokes from the back court and well placed volleys at the net.
